First and foremost, we are committed to preserving privacy. The famous social media platforms, like Facebook, squeeze out every aspect of your true identity, and profile your every move online, even when you are not on their app. None of that will happen here.
For social interaction inside the app, we do not require your identity. Even email is optional. We have no records of IP Addresses. We offer you options to post anonymously.
Your purpose in a social media app is to socialize! You can do so freely. You can create your own blogs about any subject and you can talk to all the people you know, or meet them in public spaces. Your messages to each other are always encrypted.
There are regular Live Streams of audio or video on Brax.Me on public channels. Come and join the community and watch broadcasts on music, food, religion, or politics. You can broadcast as well even just from your computer's webcam. It's simple.
The app utilizes One Time Pads for encryption. This is the hardest encryption to break. While encryption isn't necessary for public areas on Brax.Me, we fully encrypt all conversations everywhere to prevent a hacker or third party from breaking into our database.
You have the option of using an additional key for chat that ensures no one can decrypt your messages in our database. Only you and people in the chat can see the conversation.
We offer you the ability to store unlimited photos for free. File storage and file downloading bandwidth is available up to 4GB for a free tier.
This platform is completely open and the non-enterprise version is licensed under GPLV3. Open source at Github Rob Braxman.
Our app runs on iOS, Android, and any browser. This means it runs universally on any computing platform, mobile or desktop. If you want to install Brax.Me on an Android without a store, the APK file is available here: Braxme.APK.
